Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for keeping financial records in perfect order? Were looking for a Bookkeeper II to join our team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards. In this role you will also record, reconcile, prepare and analyze financial information and reports of Alfas property and casualty companies and Alfa Agency, while maintaining compliance with prescribed company policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing control procedures appropriate for the production of accurate, timely, and efficient reporting to support business management.
- Reconciling or reviewing general ledger activity, policyholder account activity, processes, subledgers, and applying prescribed accounting treatments for routine transactions.
- Recording and processing financial activity to the company records which is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Recommending, implementing, and maintaining control processes, appropriate for producing accurate, timely and efficient recordation and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping-related experience.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
